I’d like to announce a new Drupal community and documentation project, Purdue University’s Open Source Development and Documentation Project (OSDDP).
Sponsored by the Professional Writing Program at Purdue, OSDDP is a community of almost 200 instructors and students from business and professional writing classes working together on a variety of projects:cel4145
Would you like some hundred competent technical writers working on documentation _and_ marketing materials for an open-source software that you developed? 😀 Those guy at drupal.org certainly got a very good offer.
Making good software pays, people like it and chip in wherever they can. Go drupal.
This is perhaps the first time bulk contributions to Drupal are coming from outside the usual group of peoples. This won’t even be coders, so it will be quite interesting to see how things work out during the next 8 weeks. I certainly wish them well, and will try to help out where I can.
