Chelsea have not won against Arsenal in their last 18 attempts. Well, the stat stops here!
And what better game to start beating Arsenal than the Champion’s League quarter final.
Arsenal were dominating the first half and got their goal at the very end of it. But we came out strong after the break and Lampard quickly put the game on track with a goal in 51st minute. After that it was all attacking blue waves, and we could have scored 3 or 4 more, especially Gudjohnsen’s in 85th min which was cleared by diving Cole.
But the final score is just, with Bridge pumping in the 87th min winner after a clever one-two with Gudjohnsen. I was hoping Ranieri took Gud out as he looked jaded, another proof that tinkerman knows what he’s doing.

_P.S. Monaco also go through at the expense of Real Madrid. But that’s a different story. Cuz Chelsea were the better team tonight!_
