blo.gs and Kinja

Both blo.gs and Kinja are still in beta, but they have been immensely useful to me.

blo.gs provides the blogroll on my site, and enable me to access the list in many useful formats. The blogroll is constantly updated with the most recently updated blogs rising up to the top, very useful.

Kinja, on the other hand, provides a Digest. Kinja collects the contents from your entered list and gather them into one place, and that makes it so much easier to skim through. (They updates somewhat slower than blo.gs though, which is not surprising, as most blogs ping blo.gs the moment new posts arrive.)

I’ve been using blo.gs for a while but only created my kinja account a few days ago. However, by exporting my list in OPML from blo.gs and imported it into Kinja, everything is done in 1 minute. 🙂
