Why IE development stopped

[textile]

Joel Spolsky wrote a very interesting article called “How Mictrosoft Lost the API War”:http://www.joelonsoftware.com/articles/APIWar.html .

It is quite long but I did follow it through the end. Among other stuffs, there is the first plausible reason I have encountered which explain why development of Internet Explorer has stopped for many a year now.

Microsoft fears web application, and they are not going to make it any easier to develop them. Hmm.. I’m just buying this completely.
