“GooglePreview”:http://ackroyd.de/googlepreview/ is a cool extension for “Fireox”:http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ allowing you to see a ‘thumbnail’ of webpages in Google’s search result. It doesn’t add too much load to slow things down greatly, and I think it is useful, though I find it hard to explain.
It seems to only make thumbnails of ‘important’ pages, probably looking at the Google pagerank. Could this site ever got (thumb)nailed, I wonder?
Anyway, it is a neat piece of scripting, and I can’t even start to imagine how it was implemented. :O
