Hotmail and Yahoo mail users must have felt really weird not being able to see image attachments in e-mails in-line. But now in Gmail, they can see a small thumbnails of those images before choosing to view the full-sized one or download them.

This is the best of both world and the more reason to use Gmail’s web interface.
