I wish I have seen these before. “XAMPP”:http://www.apachefriends.org/en/ and “DeveloperSide.NET”:http://www.devside.net/ are both server distribution combining Apache, MySql, PHP, and Perl together for easy installation.

Installing these software manaully is quite daunting, and making them work together even more painful. I sure will try one of them (probably XAMPP) the next time I need to do it.
