Mom has been worried that I’ve been working too hard and getting too tired while here in California. Hello? This is your son, mom. 🙂
Anyway, I did get to go around a bit last weekend, and am already over the jet lag. (hardly waking up now, instead of at 5am like the first few days)
Saturday was spent going around San Francisco and Gilroy, CA. We drove around SF along the bay, seeing Pier 39 and Alcatraz, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge. You know, the touristy stuffs. It was a scenic drive but I was kinda sleepy and it was kinda empty at 8 o’clock in the morning! So I stopped my friend before he took us up Twin Peaks, and instead head downtown for Starbucks.
Then on, shopping commenced.
Some of these were in downtown San Francisco, some in Gilroy Premium Outlets. (which is huge, by the way.) Nike (for the now chiche wristband), Levi’s, Abercrombie, Apple Superstore (can’t just walk pass this, can I?) and a few hundreds more.
Nothing’s more fun than good old window shopping 😛 Bought a shirt, 2 umbrellas, some candy, and that’s about it. Half of Sunday was spent bird watching in San Jose’s Macy’s.
Enough shoppinig for the week. Not.
updated: forgot to mention Lombard Street in the list of places I went on Saturday. It really is nothing much, and looks less grand than in any movies in which it appeared. May be because this is only the beginning of spring and there were no flowers blooming.
