As I am not driving in Bangkok right now, I haven’t been following the hike of oil price as closely as otherwise. People will say “Oh, they’re going up another 40 satang tomorrow”, and I’ll go “Uhuh..”. I’m not knowledgable enough about the world situation and price mechanism, so it all seem arbitrary to me, and I lost interest.
The EPPO(Energy Policy and Planning Office) has a useful “website,”:http://www.eppo.go.th which lists the usual “retail oil price”:http://www.eppo.go.th/retail_prices.html by supplier, together with the more detailed “price structure”:http://www.eppo.go.th/petro/price/pt-price-st-2005-06-08.html and “mark ups/subsidies.”:http://www.eppo.go.th/petro/pricestoday-2547.html You can also see how price varies in “regions outside the capital.”:http://www.eppo.go.th/petro/pt-retail-Jun2544_t.html
Numbers are more Chris-friendly than babbling bureaucrats.
