K2 Port for Drupal

On the last of the 4-day New Year holiday, I got a bit productive and port K2 to Drupal. This work is based on Drupal 4.7 Beta2 codes and was tested only with that version. K2 is nicer than Kubrick in several ways. It’s pure CSS and doesn’t use any image, its typography more suitable to Drupal’s text-rich administative pages, and I like that metadata are moved up to under post titles.

The theme is available for download in drupal.org now, but it still needs testing, especially how it works with many of the modules. (poll.module have had many problems with Kubrick. Anybody knows what license is K2 released under?

  1. This is wonderful. I really like this theme. I’ve searched for a couple of examples online, and they all (even the WP version) works wrong on IE. The only one that is corretly shown is the demo of K2 at binarybonsai. Should I look on style.css to try to fix the problem?

I noticed the IE bug too. I think it’s some float in the CSS, but can’t quite put my finger on it yet.

newbie question : how do i apply a k2 skin so that it will look like my wordpress installation?
