I just finished watching Elon Musk unveils Mars colonization plan, and it is one of the most impressive things I have seen.

As the man explained, there is a list of technical challenges that must be overcome, but progress so far has been promising. Establishing self-sustaining colony on Mars could be done in our lifetime.
